About the Role - Job Description

Beautiful Concept Pvt Ltd is seeking a talented WordPress Full Stack Developer to lead the creation of a dynamic website from inception to implementation. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in crafting a modern, user-friendly, and scalable web platform utilizing WordPress as the core framework.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements, and contribute to the design and architecture of the website.
Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
Build custom functionalities and features by developing and integrating WordPress plugins or utilizing existing plugins when needed.
Customize and extend WordPress functionalities to meet specific project requirements, including custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields.
Implement SEO best practices and optimize website performance for speed and user experience within the WordPress framework.
Ensure the website's security by implementing best practices against common vulnerabilities, and maintain updates for themes and plugins.
Perform troubleshooting, testing, and debugging to ensure the website's functionality and performance meet quality standards.
Assist in deployment processes and provide ongoing support and maintenance for the WordPress website.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Proven work experience as a WordPress Full Stack Developer or similar role, demonstrating successful development and deployment of WordPress-based websites.
Ability to convert comprehensive HTML Templates into WordPress Themes
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Solid understanding in WordPress template structure
Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and strong experience in creating custom WordPress themes from scratch.
Proficiency in PHP programming language and experience in developing custom WordPress functionalities and plugins.
Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, template hierarchy, hooks, and actions.
Familiarity with database management in the context of WordPress and utilizing WordPress APIs.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization within the WordPress ecosystem.
Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and effective communication abilities.
Good in Object Oriented Programming concepts, MVC architecture
Expertise - basic concepts configurations of architecture, DB schema, Theming Layouts, Templates etc.
Proficient knowledge of WooCommerce development and store management
API development and handling is a must-need
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in WordPress development or relevant technologies.
Experience with e-commerce solutions within WordPress (e.g., WooCommerce).

Eligibility & What you will need to do this job

Workspace & Equipment

  • Device: Laptop/desktop with min. 8GB RAM (16GB recommended), SSD storage, modern CPU; webcam required.

  • Internet: 30+ Mbps stable connection; keep a backup hotspot (mobile data) for outages.

  • Power: Reliable power and UPS/inverter recommended to avoid meeting drop-offs.

  • Audio: Headset with mic; enable echo cancellation and noise suppression.

  • Setup: Quiet, distraction-free space; neutral background suitable for video; decent lighting.

  • Nice to have: External monitor (for Figma & prototyping), ergonomic chair, mouse/pen tablet for precision work.

Tools & Access

  • Figma (desktop app) with Components, Variables, Prototyping enabled.
  • Communication: Google Meet/Zoom, Slack (or equivalent).

  • Collaboration: FigJam/Miro, Google Drive/Notion (as applicable).

  • Security tools: Company-approved password manager and 2FA on all work accounts.

Availability & Communication

  • Work hours: Maintain regular hours with IST overlap; be available for scheduled standups, reviews, and client calls.
  • Response SLAs: Acknowledge Slack/messages within 1–2 working hours during your workday; email within same day.

  • Meetings: Camera ON unless pre-agreed; be ready to screen-share Figma prototypes; recordings may be made for notes.

  • Status: Keep calendar accurate and use Slack status for focus/away.

Deliverables & Process Expectations
  • From concept → prototype: Convert briefs into flows → wireframes → high-fidelity UI → clickable Figma prototypes.
  • Design hygiene: Use Auto Layout, Components/Variants, Variables, proper layer naming, and page/file organization.

  • Design system: Reuse and extend a lightweight component library (buttons, inputs, tables, modals, tabs, etc.).

  • States & responsiveness: Show hover/active/disabled, empty/error/loading, and desktop/tablet/mobile layouts.

  • Handover: Provide spec notes, redlines, and export-ready assets; annotate interactions and transitions in Figma.

  • Review cadence: Participate in weekly design reviews; incorporate feedback within agreed timelines.

Security, Privacy & Compliance
  • NDA & IP: All work is confidential; files and prototypes are the company’s intellectual property.
  • Account usage: Use company emails/accounts for Figma and other tools; do not share links publicly.

  • Data handling: No uploading client data to third-party AI/tools without written approval.

  • Access control: Enable 2FA, use the password manager, lock your device when away.

  • Software policy: Only licensed software; keep OS and apps updated; no torrents/cracked tools.

  • Sharing: Avoid working on public Wi-Fi; if unavoidable, use company-approved VPN.

Work Location & Hybrid Notes

  • You may be asked to attend office/client meetings on specific days; advance notice will be provided.
  • Travel to office/client site (if required) will follow the company’s expense policy (if applicable).

Readiness & Contingencies

  • Have a connectivity fallback (hotspot), backup audio device if your headset fails, and a plan for power cuts.
  • Inform your manager immediately about any outages affecting deliverables or meetings.

Admin & Housekeeping

  • Time tracking: Log hours/tasks as instructed.
  • File management: Save work to the official workspace (e.g., company Figma team/Drive).

  • Leaves/OOO: Share advance notice and update calendars/status.
